Opinionist is a London (Uk) band that started in February 2012, thanks to an idea of Andy Caruso and Phil Birch.
We wanted to produce a new groovy rock sound , getting over all the barriers/dualisms of the modern times. We wanted to be cool and positive in the same time, communicating something clever and soulful .
The first 2 songs "Rebellious man" and "Shooting stars" they are a good example of what we want to achieve, enthralling rhythms spiced up with sharp lyrics ( about the CCTV camera abuse and rebellious people).
To be cool it's good, but to be detached from your reality it's terrible (after all it's the main difference between Ghandi and Hitler) . That's why we try to transmit hope in our songs, strongly believing in the potential of people, which they're also capable of doing amazing things.

We are based in London (between Camden and Hackney). We play a mix of modern day blues / funk with some dance grooves and rock riffs thrown in. Our influences are very diverse,
