| About me: | | Trained for the RC Priesthood as a young man, know Latin (Church Latin) - didn't make it to ordination!!! Married with three children and three grand children. Was able to use my knowledge of ceremonies etc to advise and rehearse others for the Phillip Schofield programme "Have I Been Here Before" for Granada. In fact they would have been lost without me!!! I enjoy walking in the Lakes and reading, when I get the time. I do wedding videography and have my own editing suite. I'm a founder member of St. Bernadette's Drama Group, been with them for 30 years, Just started 31st season. Started Acting in Seminary and then joined Preston Drama Club when I left the seminary. I was with them for 10 years. I love the theatre, but enjoy the making of film too, especially I like watching the technical side of film making. My chronological age is 62; my mental age is 19, the age at which I left the Seminary!!! |

Acting experience
Been an actor for 43 years in non-professional theatre. Acted in 6 independent films as well as featured artist in soon to be transmitted comedy series on BBC 3: Trexx 'N' Flipside, produced by Hanrahan Productions. I have also done Extras work for BBC and Granada + advertisements and promotional videos for cozmictv.co.uk. Appeared in the feature film "Back in Business" at Pinewood Studios with Martin Kemp, Dennis Waterman etc. Favourite characters played include Willie Mossop in Hobson's Choice, Alec Harvey in Noel Coward's Still Life (Brief Encounter) and Branwell Bronte in Clement Dane's Wild Decembers. Played Dame in Panto and many other parts over the years.

Television experience
I have appeared with Stephen Tomkinson and Dawn French in "Ted and Alice. I also featured in three episodes of "Blackpool" for the BBC, starring David Morrisey, Sarah Parish, David Tennant etc. In the final episode of "Funland" for the BBC. Played the part of the Abbot in a re-construction for Granada TVs "Have I Been Here Before" fronted by Phillip Schofield. Featured in three promotional videos for cozmictv.co.uk. Feature film "Back in Business" starring Martin Kemp, Dennis Waterman etc. etc. etc.
