| About me: | | Born and bred in London, now living in East Sussex. I've also lived in Cumbria and Northern Italy.
I'm a very good singer/songwriter, performer and actor. Not bad looking (see photos)and reasonably fit.
I'm a great motivator, persistant, loyal, hard working, punctual, helpful, friendly and have a great sense of humour. I keep on going through thick and thin.
Have had various careers that have run alongside being a musician, including, music publishing, civil servant, removals, furniture maker/restorer, and project manager of work scheme for long-term mentally ill.
Currently promoting my latest CD "Shortcut to Nashville" an album of 12 country flavoured beats and ballads (check it out at www.bob-chambers.com) throughout the web.
That's when I'm not renovating our house and cooking dinner for the family! |

Acting experience
Played the part of an 80 year old butler in an amateur theatre production at Group 64 Theatre in London when I was 14.
Played various parts (parent, teacher and wizard!) in an English educational audio/book series for Italian school chidren in Milan, Italy in 2001.
Have appeared in a short film called "Sussed" as the main character. You can view the video at MySpace.
Recently appeared as a Tramp/informer in Episode 2 of "Dagger & Romero paranormal investigators". You can view the video at MySpace.
Played the part of "Fisherman" in a new Paramount/Nickleodeon movie directed by Gurinder Chadha "Angus, Thong and full frontal snogging" to be released in 2008.
Supporting artist "hippie" at festival in "He kills coppers" 3-part t.v. film for ITV1.
Played the part of "Dad" (speaking part) opposite Trevor (Ziggy) Byfield in short film "The Room" for Leodor Productions - to be released 30th March 2008.
Played the part of east-end gangster (speaking part-4 monologues to camera) in short documentary student film (London school of fashion and design) to be exhibited in London, Oxford Circus, Summer 2008.
Want to do more film/T.V. (acting or presenting)work and would love the experience. Would like the opportunity to be cast as the villain!

Television experience
Not much so far, but would be an excellent presenter of programmes about music/cookery or DIY
"Rosemary Shrager's nightmare for cooks" - screened December 3rd 2007 on ITV1.

Music experience
I've been a gigging/recording musician/songwriter/composer for over 30 years and play guitar, bass, Keyboards, and I sing professionally. I also produce and engineer all of my music and design the artwork etc. I cover most styles of music. Am currently promoting 3 CD's of instrumental music under the name of "bobsongs music for media", and my latest country music album ("Shortcut to Nashville") under my own name "Bob Chambers". As a songwriter I'm looking to place my songs with other recording artists, as well as releasing them myself - any singers/recording artists looking for new and original material should contact me. I'm also placing my music with film, video, t.v. and corporate markets. Would like to write scores for films/T.V./Documentaries etc. Commissions welcome - even low budget.
