Brinagh Hassett

Victoria, Australia

Model, Actor, Musician

Hi my name is Brinagh, I'm from a small town in gippsland. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University in Melbourne where i study Drama, Visual art, Literature and History. I am currently working as the assistant director to the Yarra Theatre Co. I have been involved in the theatre since i was nine, and enjoy acting tremendously. I have had lead roles in ten productions within the last ten years, co-directed 5 and in 2004 recieved a Gippsland Asosiated Theatre award for my performance as Briggita in The Sound of Music. And was musical director of Picknick at Hanging Rock 2011. I have performed in many Shakespear plays including playing Juliet in 2010 and have also studied with NIDA. I studied classical vocal training at the Bendigo Studio of Vocal Art and Music for six years, and in this time recieved 3 Championship first places. My bachelor lasts for three years, and i see this as the perfect opportunity to get some experience in film.
