I am Irish born in Dublin with the roots of a Russian Jewish background (3rd generation).People say I look 'Black Irish', with black hair and an olive complexion giving people the impression my roots are more like of Spanish decent. I am a keen photographer & director but I have spent many years working in the music business, managing artists and producing records. A lot of people think I'm famous! All my life I seem to have attracted looks from men & women, young & old, or I get stopped in the street by people, thinking they know me from TV or else they think I'm in a band. I love a good laugh and I can naturally do a few different strong Irish accents. My natural voice has been described as a 'Mid-Atlantic' accent, having lived in London for more than 20 years. If there's anything that leaves an impression on the media, it's my voice. I enjoy reading and writing and I'm extremely well travelled, with my family currently living all over the world. I also enjoy lecturing & presenting.

Recently, I played Gallery Owner, 'Roger' in acclaimed feature film 'Pelican Blood' (Ecosse Films), due for general release January 2010.

I have made 3 National commercials, 1 being a special feature with Twiggy "125 years of Marks and Spencer". I have also acted in seven short films, four of which I play the lead role.

I guest featured on "Hotel Babylon", and was a featured villain on "Ashes to Ashes". I played a photographer in the Vic with Barbara Windsor on "Eastenders" I also sparked a fight with Rafe Spall in a scene on the recent BBC drama "Desperate Romantics".

I love doing comedy and I have done several diverse roles regularly with online TV station Channel Bee (see links below)
Added to this I did a couple of character parts for the FX comedy show, "No Signal"

Playing Office Boss in "Have You Seen The Wire"

Playing Ad Exec in "Drunken Ad Man"

I have been working constantly doing TV features throughout the year. I also completed a commercial which is getting regular plays nationwide, on several channels for Red Driving school.

Last summer I completed an American Short Film due which was showcased at Bafta and will be be shown at Sundance in USA.

I have experience working as a Video Reporter and Reading the News using Autocue.

I have taken part in many acting forums and I've done voiceovers for telephone companies. I am currently studying at the Amanda Redman's Arts Theatre School (ATS) plus I've completed courses at City Lit. I also attended Sylvia Young's Adult School.

    Reality TV

I have been interviewed on TV a few times where I've been asked to discuss aspects of the fashion industry and the world of modelling. I have a natural aptitude for speaking on camera or radio because of my confidence and distinctive voice. I enjoy good diction and interpreting different moods to reflect the topic being discussed. I am currently choosing a course in presenting, which I hope will allow me to move forward swiftly.

    Crew / Photography

Admittedly, I have more years behind the camera than in front. So, I am aware of the issues of filming and photography because of that experience but I enjoy taking direction. I used to be a child model in Ireland where I grew up.

Acting and Presenting has pretty much taken over my daily life now particularly in the last 2 years, but I still enjoy shooting when its something special and I am currently in the process of seeking commissioners and production partners for the TV programmes I've written.

These days I tend to talk more about photography - see BBC News Feature http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fy0R3ZiXoqQ
