Professional fiddle/violin player and singer-songwriter. I also compose, arrange and produce my own instrumental compositions and have also an ambition to write for tv and film.
I was the lead fiddle player and musician in the UK theatre show 'Essence of Ireland' (essenceofireland.co.uk) since it began in 2008. Toured for 3 years on and off with the show all around the UK. I gave up touring with 'Essence of Ireland' this January in order to concentrate more on furthering my songwriting career. (www.essenceofireland.co.uk)
I have 11 years of experience gigging with live professional bands playing the violin, whistles and singing. Was the fiddle player in the top Irish/Country/folk-rock band, 'The Bogtrotters' for 4 years and I am currently freelancing as a fiddle player and singer with many Irish/folk and pop bands in and around Manchester, mainly 'Quare Craic'.
I also play piano, Irish whistles and guitar. Grade 8 distinction in violin (ABRSM) and ABRSM Music theory certs.
Nearly all of the songs on my website were recorded in a week due to budget restrictions and time deadlines and I know that there is a lot of room for improvement which I am so eager to refine.
