In February 2010 I returned from living in Hong Kong for 5 months. Whilst there I played a lead role in the musical 'Songs for a new world' with production company Katterwall. The show was part of the Hong Kong City Festival and I was chosen to appear on a television arts programme, 'The Works', to promote the show.

I studied a HND in Theatre, specialising in Musical Theatre, at Blackpool and the Fylde College but I also have years of experience performing on stage. In 2002, whilst studying, I played the role of Eva Peron in Evita at the Blackpool Grand Theatre. This was the most vocally and physically challenging role I have ever played, and I loved every minute of it!

I have worked extensively from the age of 18 in semi professional theatre companies including Purple Patch Productions and Juxtaposed Productions. As lead vocalist I took on roles of 'Scaramouche' and 'Eva Peron' in shows such as 'The Best of Broadway' and 'Movies in Motion' touring prestigious theatres like the Globe Theatre, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the Opera House, Manchester.

During February to April 2010, I was a backing vocalist for Laura White on the Peter Andre Revelation UK Tour. We performed at venues including the Manchester Apollo, London O2 and the Hammersmith Apollo.

Since 2002 I have worked as a professional singer/actress performing popular music and musical theatre in the UK, Europe and Asia. I pride myself on my professionalism and feel that I excel as a lead/front person in a show/band or equally I can adapt into a chorus/group. No matter how large or small an audience, I will always deliver a touch of class!

I am an extremely versatile performer and where I have the confidence to perform as a soloist, I can also work well within a vocal harmony group/band. I was part of a female 4 piece vocal harmony group called Diamond, based in the UK. We produced and directed our own shows and they included music from the West End and Broadway, Motown, war time, pop etc. We performed many different sets as part of our repertoire including an acoustic sound, influenced by Radio One's Live Lounge. We created our own renditions of Rihanna's UMBRELLA and the Sugababes' ABOUT YOU NOW. We have appeared at many high profile events on the same bill as Girls Aloud and Lemar; appeared on local television and radio road shows. We also co-presented a radio show with DJ Adam Catterall on northwest station, Rock FM.
