I have had quite a bit of experience with acting, nothing that I have done has really been on a big scale, however I have learnt a lot of skills etc throughout the classes that I have taken.

I started my Acting when I was 10, in Guildford at the electric theatre where I did some classes. I started to learn the basics of acting here and from here it all progressed. I then moved on to acting on a slightly bigger stage at Aldershot theatre. I did this for three years and had done performances with them. One of these performances I had a leading role, which links into my singing because it was a musical theatre piece from Annie. Again I have learnt a lot from the teachings that they gave to me.

I took Drama at GCSE, and achieved an A grade overall. I have learnt a lot of acting skills from this which I feel has given me a good opportunity to take part in more acting roles as we tried to cover a lot of different genres. I have taken part in many school plays and performances as well. In one of these performances I had the opportunity to have the female leading role in a play called ‘hypernova’ and following this I won an award for it. I have been in a short film that was made by a man at my work that he was using for a minor commercial.

I am now moving on to Guildford College for 2 years where I will study musical theatre and I am really looking forward to it.

I started my music experiences when I was very young, this started with my singing, it is only recently that I have learnt to play the guitar. I have taken Music at GCSE as well and so this offered me chances to record, compose and write my own songs - along side with all the theory as well.

In my musical abilities my strong point is singing. I have had many opportunities when it comes to singing, my school has offered me chances to sing in performances with a band. I have also got awards for these. I joined a choir which took part in a SHAPE festival for Surrey.

Regarding my guitar, I play an acoustic, just because this is my preference, however I do own an electric. I started Guitar about 2 years ago. I have had lessons at my school, where I have learnt a lot. My experience in it though is from my church. I play in our worship band, this has helped me a lot in many ways as well as the performing side, and it has helped me to play in front of people every week and has boosted my confidence in this area.

I have just started up with my dancing, I am taking Jazz and Ballet, this is at Guildford College. I shall be studying both for the next 2 years.
