| About me: | | Jade is a young 18 year old aspiring model born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Her nationality is Ojibway and Jamaican which she proudly represents wherever she goes.
Jade has many interests & hobbies that keep her busy and involved with her community such as singing, dancing, and participating in youth forums educating and promoting healthy living to her peers.
Her future plans are to continue with her education while pursuing her dreams of becoming a model/actress with the support of her family. Jade’s experiences have allowed her to encourage her peers to participate in all types of competition setting as they allow room for growth and opportunities to meet new people.
Jade was also featured in fall 2007 issue of Say Magazine, the local Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal, Wawatay Newspaper and Wawatay Radio Network as well as placing 3rd in Thunder Bay High School Idol. |

March 2008 I placed 1st place in my age category as Grand Champion of the Great Canadian Model Search 2008 in London, Ontario. I have competed and won the Winnipeg regional "Top Native Model 2007" competition. I have modeled in a wedding and bridal fashion show. I recently appeared in a calendar entitled "Tribal Creatures of Kanata" (Month:February). I was also an actress in an award winning short film, "Seeking Bimaadiziiwin"

Acting experience
 
I acted in the film "Seeking Biimahdiziiwin" by Thunderstone Productions. My role was the big sister whose role was to cranky, compassionate and able to cry during the scenes. The film went on to win "best action drama short subject" 32nd American Indian Film Festival, "1st place at the People's Choice Award" Bay Street Film Festival and "best short film nominee" Winnipeg Film Festival.
