I am a versatile Trumpet player who can play across all styles whether it's Pop, Jazz or Classical etc. I have worked for Disney Cruise Line on board one of their cruise ships the Disney Wonder as a trumpet and keyboard player in their resident house band Super Fi. I have a repertoire of around 300 songs covering all types of genres both on keyboard and trumpet. I was awarded Musician of the year 2012 at the Disney Wonder Crew Awards in recognition of my contribution to the music on board the ship and my commitment to excellence towards musical standards of performance.
I am an experienced function band player and I'm able to write my own charts for horn sections. These can either be the same as the original track or new parts. I can also sing backing vocals if needed when I'm not playing. Bands I've played with recently include:
Super Fi, Souled Out, Uncle Funk, Glitter Ball, Everyday People, Rocksteady , The Alex and Phil Extravaganza and Legacy.
I am also an experienced show player most recently working in a fringe production of The Drowsy Chaperone at the Ovation Theatre in Highgate, London. The show was nominated for 12 OffWestEnd awards and received excellent reviews. The musical supervisor for this show was Michael England. I have played in several big bands over the years. Most recently with Hot Orange based in Mile End in London who have a strong reputation within London for attracting some of the best players.
I have recorded for many sessions and artists and like to remain active in recording as much of my playing as possible.
In 2010 I worked for China Town Arts in a production called Piccadilly Revisited at the Linbury Theatre in The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. I have recorded the Trumpet lines so they can tour this show internationally starting in February 2011.
I was also part of a live performance in the last series of Big Brother in the UK where I played Flugel Horn.
