| About me: | | India Fire aka Kate Wright is a highly experienced performer and teacher in the art of poi spinning. She has been performing with fire and glows for over 9 years and is the founder of Poi Passion which was conceived whilst travelling in Greece, performing for local nightclubs and hotel events, and then teaching tourists during the day. On returning to the UK India Fire quickly established a host of workshops and has trained over 4000 children and adults to master this art. She is renowned in Brighton for her work in the community, running events and participating in carnivals, festivals, after school clubs and summer camps. She thrives on the ability to make a difference in the lives of those she works with, especially children with special needs and learning disabilities. As a performer, India Fire has worked across the globe, including events for Bacardi, numerous festivals, including Womad and Glastonbury and on TV for ITV and the BBC.
