Music experience
My name is Katherine, I'm 22. I am a singer, songwriter, dancer and keyboard player. I have been singing and performing professionally since I was 13. I've worked with finest musicians back home and now I'm looking for a break in London. I worked with jazz band, I worked toured with blues band for over a year. Then I recorded my first album under the Tomcat project name (www.tomcatseye.com). The album was not for sale, for promo only. I hoped that one day that would get into the right hands at the right time. Aslo I had an unique electronic live project SMS (dj, digital guitar, sax and my vocal). We were performing at the hottest spots in town! Parties, clubs, VIP openings and etc. With my guitarist from SMS we had recorded a series of jazz folk acoustic sessions and also toured with this unique program. Right before going to London I was rehearsaling with a band my new soul funk material. We didn't take it to the live stage as I decided to move to London for good. At the moment I've been here for over a year performing in different venues as a cover singer (Savoy Hotel, Mandarin Oriental,6 Degrees and POP at Soho, N20 in North London, Papparazi Cafe, Pizza Pomidora and many others). Also I work over my original material in the studio though I haven't brought it to the live stage yet. Ideally I hope to find a record label or production company interested in me as a singer and performer, or I could succeed in any West End stages as well.
