She has been studying acting since 1996, her mentors include "Stage Right Drama School", "NIDA" and "The Screen Actors Workshop".

Further to Katy's primary direction of acting, she is also a Singer/Songwriter with experience in solo and group performances.

These including Corporate Functions, Weddings, Musical Theatre productions and Community Carols. Highlights being a solo performance to 1500 people and a duet performing 6 songs for the Paralympic to torch relay concert MC'd by Peter Phelps.

She also used to perform in, and continues to write music for the 'Hi-5' style group called 'BOUNCE'.

Katy gets approached to write for various people. She is currently writing the Theme Song for a new series being shot in LA called "The Hollywood Life"
