| About me: | | I am a 28 year old new presenting talent. Currently a teacher, I intend to transfer my skills in the classroom onto your television screens! Outgoing and funny are just two words to describe me- an asset to anyone! With interests in music, movies, theatre, and current affairs, I am the ideal choice for any show. Having recently filmed at the London Academy of Film and Television and with Presenters INC, I have experience with autocue, Vox-popping and writing and filming on location pieces to camera. I also have experience using talk back and multi camera. I am a highly motivated individual and give 100% in every task I undertake. I enjoy new challenges and tackle them with enthusiasm and energy.I am inspired to gain more experience within the industry and look forward to opportunities to do so.

Television experience
Motivation:
I love the challenges of presenting. I work well under pressure, can improvise to camera
and can adapt to suit different circumstances under the direction of colleagues. I have a happy and vibrant nature and thrive upon a willingness to learn.
I have recently completed a Television Presenters’ Masterclass training course with the London Academy of Film and Television (July 2007).
Opportunities were given to gain experience with autocue, interview techniques, vox popping and pieces to camera. All pieces were self scripted. We were given an insight into the process that goes into the production our
showreels.Pieces to camera were filmed on location and within the Academy studios. I particularly thrived off the location shoots involving vox-popping members of the public.
I feel I am adaptable to any role and would tackle it with enthusiasm. My adaptable nature and experience as a teacher, combined with my degree level education would lend me to take on tasks within a variety of genres. I am comfortable working with members of the public of all ages.
I am currently employed as a teacher with my local authority. I have been teaching for 7
years now and have developed many skills which have already proved to be very useful within my presenting experience. I am very well organised, can manage time well and adapt very easily to change. I feel this would be of particular benefit during live television broadcasts. My job as a teacher requires my to be approachable and develop a rapport with the individuals I work with. This is one area I am particularly strong in. I have a great sense of empathy.

Film, Travel & Tourism, Sport Health & Fitness I enjoy music festivals, shopping, spending time with my family and friends and going to the theatre.
Programme interests:
I am passionate about Children's TV, Travel, Current Affairs and Culture Programmes and am very keen develop my skills within these areas.
