During my reign as Miss Asian America 2005, I had the opportunity to work in the fashion industry with various artists. I participated in modeling, fashion, and runway events to help raise money for charity.

Acting experience
I have taken a few acting classes during ballet summer intensive programs, high school and college. I am also a professional ballet dancer with Oakland Ballet Company, which requires stage performance and acting skills.

Dancing experience
I have been dancing for 16 years. I have a very solid base in ballet technique (Russian style and Vaganova) and am currently with Oakland Ballet Company. I have performed as a guest artist for many ballet companies and attended Colorado Ballet's training program. In addition to ballet, I grew up with strong jazz and lyrical as well.

Magazine experience
After I graduated from UC Davis with two Bachelors Degrees - one in Communications and Sociology - I worked at a news station and wrote stories that aired for KOVR 13 in Sacramento, CA.
