| About me: | | My whole life I've been told I look 10 years younger than I am. Lucky genes but I do try to keep it up with a healthy lifestyle. Hence I'm 50 but look 40. Would be good content for any adverts/chat shows along the same theme of which there seem to be quite a lot at the moment.I'm actively promoting my new songs right now and keen for other people to record them |

Television experience
I have had a 14 year career in TV production behind the camera and I'm a freelance Director/Producer. I've recently gone in front of the camera to film music videos to promote my new songs. I have my own DVCam cameras and love filming gigs for friends but I also love filming ob doc style behind the scenes films and have made 6 feature length ob docs of the Jazz Stage at Glastonbury Festival from 1995 on. The highlight of my career so far was when Julien Temple chose to include my footage in his movie "Glastonbury" released in April 2006. I have many creative projects waiting in the wings that mix my music ideas with my tv experience but it's a long slow process producing them on my own so I'd love to meet any producers interested in musical type productions.

Music experience
Music is my passion. I started singing in Church choirs and later in School musical productions. I learned classical piano up to grade 5 and have been composing songs since the early 80's. I have had two different bands to perform my songs over the years, and played at Glastonbury Festival twice. I've been in other people's bands too on keys, sequencers and backing vocals and peformed at Womad once. I'm lucky enough to know some very talented people in Bristol who have helped me record some new arrangements for my songs that I'm very proud of and I'll be releasing a CD in summer 2007. You can hear some of them now on my website. I love being based in Bristol surrounded by so much musical talent! I moved to Bristol 21 years ago to join a band called Squeeky, previous to that in Somerset I had a band called Kim and the Karpettes aka Karp; After Squeeky I played in Bristol as Kim Wilson, and also with Swaah Deezon. Musicians playing on my recordings are Rob Rathbone formerly of Swang Party and The Eff Word presently with Ramcatsurfer; Graham Egan-Andrew formerly of Sourmash presently with Three; Crispin Groves-Raines formerly with Boxcar, Single Gun Theory and Celtic Kings of Rock; Lex Cousins has been invaluable on extra production and is aka Jnr Hacksaw.
