Bringing Back Happiness “the album” – Artist/Songwriter With release deals on the table with EMI/Toshiba in Hong Kong and Japan, the self-titled debut album “Bringing Back Happiness” is a twelve-track recording project that began in the summer of 2006. To date over 30 songs have been recorded and over 300 songs have been written.
001 Studios – Songwriter / Backing Vocalist I worked as a songwriter for Sam Melamand at 001 Studios, who are the production houses for national Australian television shows and recording artists such as Big Brother, CBD and Merril Bainbridge. In 2006, based on my experience as a recording artist, I was asked to record backing vocals for the debut album of a Malaysian artist for my first sourced song. For this project, I was required to sing for over 7 hours, and recorded over 600 takes for one song. The song required on-the-spot harmony creation and recognition in addition to coaching the artist on harmony timing and execution.
