Music experience
I'm currently gigging regulary across the country as a soloist, and disco/motown duo act called Black & Gold. I'm also one 5th of a Girls Aloud tribute band.
I have been singing for 5 and a half years, I have a National Diploma in music from South Downs College Portsmouth. I have sung on stages all over the country in gigs and competitions and have alot of recording experience.
I have 2 years experience rehearsing and performing with a live band.
I have full knowledge and experience with using a P.A system, mic etc and own my own equipment.
I have experience in radio and magazine interviews and organising music events. I have a huge set list of all genres with top quality backing tracks on CD or Mini Disc.
- I have won several local and national singing competitions including-
- 1st prize in 'Pompey Popstars' Competition 2003.
- 1st prize in the Portsmouth and Regional Finals of Yates's Karaoke competition 2004 with Fame Acadamy's Carrie Grant.
- 1st prize in the Portsmouth and Regional Finals of Chicago Rock's 'Rock Idol' 2005.
- 6th place out of 5000 entries in South Coast Idol 2006, presented by Jane Macdonald with performances from X-Factor finalists.
