| I have a 1st Class Honours Degree in Performing Arts and a Masters Degree in Cultural Performance. Since completing my Masters Degree, apart from singing and acting, I have been involved in community theatre with Theatre by the Lake. Through this, I've worked with male prisoners, young offenders, primary school children, Youth Club and Youth Theatre members. I also regularly facilitate Play in a Days in primary schools for Lynx Theatre in Education. I've also been commissioned to write 3 plays for Lynx - (1)the history of Cumbria,(2)based on Tam O'Shanter,(3)about James VI of Scotland/I of England - which have been performed in schools. I have a good ear for accents. I have a clean car/motorbike driving licence. When I'm not acting, singing, directing or writing, I temp as a secretary, work in a hospital and do voluntary work. I'm a very reliable, highly-motivated, dedicated and loyal person. I live an ethical lifestyle. I have 5 tattoos plus a work-in-progress back tattoo. | |

A very versatile character actress also with strong movement skills. I have played a wide range of characters - from Madame in Bryony Lavery's 'Illyria'...to Queen Marguerite in Ionesco's 'Exit the King...from Gwenda in Sue Townsend's 'Bazaar and Rummage'...to ditzy Essex girl, Sandy, in Bernard Farrell's 'Happy Birthday Dear Alice'. I have recently played the evil fairy in 'Sleeping Beauty' - a cross between Cruella DeVille, Hyacinth Bouquet and Blackadder - and Rita in 'Educating Rita. I am equally comfortable working with naturalistic or abstract styles. I'm also comfortable being involved in more quirky, experimental productions.

I am currently lead vocalist in a covers band - 'Lowfat Lily' (we cover a wide range of styles). We have been performing together for 2 and a half years. I also sang lead vocals for a Merseyside-based band that was formed for Wirral Folk Festival 2006 ('Skaggarak'). I am a lyricist.
