Before joining the team he was a general in the army and once he found out of the existence of mythological creatures, he joined the team and was promoted to the leader quickly. He is an excellent swordsman and takes responsibility very seriously. When the Sage tells him what he must do, he is quick to follow instructions and lead his team.

Charles’ wife is smart and loyal. She is completely independent but is madly in love with Charles and would do anything to be by his side. She encourages his career as a cage fighter and would support him no matter what happens. Amy also runs our own successful e-commerce company and is computer savvy.

a trained forensic scientist, she was recruited into the team after Markus for her skills as she learns more about the mythological creatures they are fighting. With being disconnected from the outside world due to her commitments of the team she finds herself pining for as much of a normal life as possible. When Markus is killed she is promoted to the leader of the team, something which she struggles with badly, however she is strong minded and does her very best to succeed.

studying to become a doctor, he was recruited last into the team for his skills. Although he is a bit shy he can still make good conversation and he is friendly to everybody. Adam is a bit of a book worm and studies every night to make sure he is the best he can be. As well as being a trained doctor, his powers make him a crack shot with his cross-bow and is essential in the team.

the mysterious benefactor of our heroes, he funded the construction of their base underneath the botanic gardens and keeps the press off their backs as well as any government interference. He has a stiff upper lip and likes to do things by the books, even if that means turning a blind eye to the means that the team complete their missions.

is an utter book worm and a complete geek. She is shy and compensates by talking extremely fast. Emily is studying in Scottish mythology and history and is hired by a firm to write a detailed book on the history of the Campbells and the MacDonalds, not realising that she is a distance relative of the MacDonalds. Emily accidentally releases the first creature in decades and quickly goes into hiding.

the shape shifter has one true human form when it is not taking the form of other people for its own goals, or in the form of a ferocious mythological creature. He is attractive, thin, athletic and cunning. His goal is to cause chaos and destruction, following Vincent’s every instruction.

a relation to the MacDonalds, Vincent is the vice president of a successful research facility outside of the city. He is well off and lives in a stately country home in the country. He likes to come across as confident but he has always been unsure of his purpose in life and when an evil force from the past confronts him, Vincent is shown his true meaning in life – to bring about the mythological creatures and destroy the world. Vincent is charming but he can lose his confidence if pushed.
