Male and female actors for exciting Melbourne short film

Casting complete. Applications are now closed.

“Nymph” is a seven-minute graduate film being written and directed by Roxanne Halley and produced by Lydia Taylor, final-year students of the Bachelor of Film and Television at Swinburne University of Technology. The film is based on a Greek myth and set in contemporary Melbourne, and follows the journey of Pan through the city as he tries to escape the torments of a powerful goddess.

Shooting dates are from approximately 1700-2300 in Melbourne from the 9th-12th of July, and for two days on the 11th-12th August at Lake Corangamite in Colac. These positions are unpaid, and actors will have the opportunity to work with talented and enthusiastic filmmakers on a unique, dynamic short film. As the script contains minimal dialogue, a large emphasis will be placed on improvisation and physicality to create a powerful, highly visual story. Therefore, we are looking for actors with a strong screen presence and who are willing to experiment.
