A short film being produced in Manchester with the intention of being entered in to the Virgin Media Shorts competition. This is a great opportunity for any aspiring actors to have the possibilty of priceless exposure as there is the potential for the film to be shown nationwide.

The film is about a man named Peter who is trying to make the world a better place through his small and seemingly altruistic actions. However, all is not what it seems and there is dark undertones to his motives, as what he believes to be right is a distortion of the truth. The power of this production lies in it's unique storytelling and it's ability to manipulate the audience's perceptions of this character, allowing for a surprise ending.

Auditions will be taking place over the next week and we are looking to fill the main role of Peter as well as extras. Actors must be flexible and available to shoot in Manchester.

Peter

Peter is the film's protagonist. He carries the film as we learn about his passion to carry out good deeds for the homeless. He is a man of compassion and cares for his fellow man, yet if we scratch below the surface a darker side lies beneath. Yet despite sinister implications Peter is not an evil man but believes he is making the world a better place.

A Homeless Person

A homeless person is a key supporting actor within the film and is a counterpart to that of Peter. This role is crucial in giving the film depth and poignancy.

Due to the nature of this part there is no set criteria for applicants. The only thing that is crucial for those looking to apply is their ability to pass themselves off as homeless. This is a great opportunity for those looking to prove themselves as character actors who have the ability and depth to transform themselves as performers
