D Is For Detroit

A modern day urban parable centered around London and Ibiza. A feature with a script which has had a fantastic response from experienced writers in both film and theater. The themes of the picture revolve around the electronic music scene, club culture, love and destitution so will be second to none in film score and sound track amongst an urban gritty London backdrops fused with sprawling Ibizan landscapes.

We're currently in production and have around a three week solid schedule (Up to 5 days a week - 12 hour days with two breaks - 7-8AM Calls). We're looking for:

Camera Operator (A Cam) with focus pulling experience. (If you have lighting experience, do mention)
Sound Recordist & Boom Operator
Clapperloader/Runner/Production Assistant/Behind The Scenes Videographer & Photographer
Production Manager/Script Supervisor

As we're a micro crew, we're ambitious to make a large film, with the resources we have. The project is being shot on a Canon 5D MK3 and 5D MK2, and sound is being recorded on a Zoom H4N.

Unfortunately this is an unpaid position due to a low budget, but there is a possibility for a trip to Ibiza in September to continue your role on portions of the film. All travel expenses will be paid for, London and Ibiza, and you will be fed. If you have your own equipment and would like to use it, do let us know and we may be able to work something out.

This is a great opportunity for newcomers into the industry and graduates, for a enthralling experience in an exciting production. You'll also gain a credit with a copy of the film, once complete.
