Snowdance is an up and coming production company based in London. We are currently involved in short film, music video, live music and Acting for Camera Workshops.

We are producing a short film, called "Conflict".

We are looking for a DoP /Sound Recordist and lighting personnel preferably with own equipment (recording/sound equipment)

You will be needed for two days during the week, in the last week of August.

We are working on a very small budget so we will only be able to cover your expenses this time. We will, however cover travels expenses, offer refreshments and meals and credits for the film.

The feedback so far is great, and there is a strong possibility it will be made into a feature in due course.

This short film (Conflict) will also work as a trailer for the feature film, once we have put this out to film festivals.

We are also looking for a DoP/Sound Recordist for Melange Factor (monthly music talent show in West End on Sunday 24th from 6pm-10pm)

This is also an expenses only position. You will be allowed to bring friends and family to the event free of charge. We will offer credits for this job

Synopsis (conflict)
A terrorist suspected (Shahid) is being held and tortured in an unidentified location, somewhere believed to be in the Middle East. Locked in solitary confinement, he depends upon his faith and the memories of his wife and a son in these darkest hours of his life. A British government official (Mr Stanley) is his only hope for his freedom.

But things change when a teenage boy is detained in a solitary cell next to his. As the boy suffers torture and abuse, his faith diminishes as he questions the very existence of God. He then makes a desperate attempt to save the boy but only to find out the shocking truth about the boy, Mr Stanley and his very own existence. In this hard hitting gruesome drama, Shahid faces conflict between belief and realism.
