BA (Hons) Dance Completion Award - training in Contemporary Dance performance, choreography and facilitation
Diploma in Professional Stage Dance - intense training in ballet, tap, modern jazz, contemporary, hip/hop, basic break dance and flamenco dancing.

DETAILS ON EXPERIENCE:
Presumed Innocent Show, Portugal, Spain and Morocco: Dance Captain of a show team of 4 performing one or two shows daily, touring hotels in Spain and Portugal. Shows consisted of an Irish and Cabaret show including feather work, pointe, tap, CanCan and quick costume changes.
Fat Mama's Restaurant, Paphos, Cyprus - part of a show team performing 2 shows per evening 7 nights a week for 6 months. Showgirl/variety cabaret work consisiting of adagio work, rock and roll, extensive partnering, feathers, pyro techniques, salsa, cheerleading, can can, jazz and very quick costume changes. Shows included: Dirty Dancing, Sister Act, Chicago, Copacabana, Bond, Mamma Mia.
Dancer Teacher/Performer: Razzamataz Theatre Schools, TUI, Fuerteventura (working in partnership to produce a presentation every 3 days with children between the ages of 5 and 16. Delivering beginner adult dance classes in various styles such as salsa, cha, rumba and social foxtrot. Also working closely with entertainment staff in daytime duties, performing in rep show and also choreography for rep show.)

•Choreographed and performance for DVD “Shake it UP” for distribution to all Fife Primary Schools demonstrating teaching points and routines for dance activities. (Fife Council Active Schools)
•Leader of a dance session for the BBC Reporting Scotland Documentary (19/01/09) on Active Children in Fife detailing the importance of exercise, healthy eating and active lifestyles.
•Leader of Early Years Development Workshop (Fife Council)
•Leader of various jazz/hip hop dance workshops (ages 5-10yrs, 10-15yrs, 15+ - Fife Council)
•Worked in partnership to provide a transition programme for girls Primary 6 to Secondary 1 from various backgrounds. Aiming to highlight the importance of physical activity and healthy eating along with encouraging self-motivation and tackling low self esteem, confidence issues and interaction with fellow peers.
•Worked in partnership with an active schools coordinator to provide a transition programme for children in nursery and primary 1. Working alongside parents to encourage participation in physical activities out with schools hours.
•Worked in a group to provide physical activities to a mixed gender group of children with varying issues. Aiming to provide an understanding of the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle.
•Sports Leaders: Women Get Set Go Course
