Last year I was in a terrible situation: living in New York with a work visa. If I quit my job, I had 30 days to leave the country... My boss knew this and abused the situation, asking me to work ridiculous hours and not paying me. So I decided to quit after all. However, I had a boyfriend in New York and didn't want to leave... So I decided to apply for an "extraordinary artist visa". I managed to get a huge portfolio together in a year. And now here I am, back in New York, and my acting career has taken off as a direct result of the challenges I had to overcome. I'm now making a living from my craft, without a day job. There's more, too... I'll tell you if you pick me :) Thanks, Mathilde. (check out my website:
