| I am 16 years old and am the UK's Youngest Classical Baritone, soon to be entered into the Guinness Book of records as I have a very Mature voice for my age. I have won numerous awards and accolaides for my unusual vocal ability including the BBC's "Let Me Entertain You" hosted by Brian Conley in September, 2006. I have recently won a Classical Festival gaining 5 first placed certificates and awards and have already surpassed the careers of many of my Operatic Counterparts of the Older Generation performing on some of the worlds grandest stages such as the Royal Albert Hall. Singing is my passion, it means everything to me. I am currently involved in "X Factor 2007"; my audition was shown on ITV1 on Saturday, September 1st, 2007, with Simon Cowell extremely impressed with my version of "Nessun Dorma"; I am now through to the "Boot Camp" stages. Matthew has appeared in many newspapers Local/National for example "First News", daily star, woman magazine etc Matthew recently appeared in the"Daily Express"written by Vanessa Feltz who had seen him in concert in Croydon on 16th December, 2006.Vanessa wrote quote/I spent saturday night at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon Transfixed by the UKS youngest Operatic Baritone, Matthew Crane is nothing short of a pnhenomenon, in height and stature hes an average teenager,his speaking voice soft and fairly high pitched his manner pleasantly shy but when he opens his mouth a voice with stirring power and emotional resonance of Placido Domingo soars forth,so startlingly forceful and moving are this little boys arias the audience does a double take,can this little chap really be capable of producing such a sound,the answer is yes,i was there, if you have not heard matthew seek him out the only crime is no recording company has signed this engaging and outstanding talent
Matthew, has won many talent shows and competitions and was nominated for a "Pride in Medway" award twice which was attended by the Mayor, local press, Local MP, Paul Clark and BBC South East Presenter Geoff Clark.
Matthew performed at Womersley Park in Doncaster on the 14th July, 2007 to an audience of 8000 people in an Open air Concert alongside Katherine Jenkins /Emer McParland and HM Royal Marines Band of Scotland.He has also auditioned for the x factor in which he got to boot camp ,also november 2007 matthew sang at a local football ground to celebrate the grounds first anniversary ,he also won a national talent show in essex receiving a trophy, certificate and £2000 and was featured in the take five mag nov 2007 from the daily star.Matthew recently won a National Talent show called UK UNSIGNED 2008 at hackney empire he is also to appear with the drifters in concert on 31st may 2008 and is sponsored by Gillingham football club he is also a Patron of the CPC (CEREBRAL PALSY Care) Charity
