My name is Max. I'm a vocalist and musician based in North London. I have a distinctive bass baritone voice and also play the piano & flute. I began my musical theatre career in 1993 singing & dancing my way through a variety of shows and concerts. As an accomplished musician, I have also been musical director for many shows. I have a versatile voice and it lends itself to many music styles including easy listening, big band, jazz standards but my most preferred is musical theatre. I have also enjoyed creating and recording backing vocals for several projects for other writers. Being a musician, I am a strong sight reader and can learn new material very quickly. I'm also a competent composer. I've written vocal harmonies, orchestral parts and have recently recorded an album of my own songs. I have lots of experience performing solo, in groups and in the recording studio. I am very organised, punctual, respond well to direction and always work in a professional manner.
