I'm Nico Russell and I'm a freelance writer / photographer / videographer / editor / actor based in London. I use a Canon 7D to film and photograph every conceivable event you can conceivably conceive. My work has taken me all over the World including Rome, New York and Blackpool. When I'm not behind the camera I write, act and very occasionally sing. In 2012 I won the United Press National Poetry Competition with my poem 'A British Heart' beating over 10,000 other entries to make me the youngest ever winner. I have also written for television and radio and I hope to have my first children's book published next year. I have acted in commercials, tv programs, feature films, music videos, corporate videos, plays and even host the odd pub quiz night around London. I write and produce my own songs and released a 3-track EP in late 2010 called 'Dance Assembly' with The Flume Of Confusion. I write songs for other bands and I have recently appeared in a collection of Christmas videos on YouTube in association with The Sense Of Sound Choir.
