Over this past 10 years as a young actor, ive been trying to get as much acting/singing experience as possible.my first acting role was being cast as the lead character 'Curley' in my high schools rendition of OKLAHOMA".It was a great success and over its 8 nights generated over 700 people.since this time i have applied myself in every play and musical since then, with a play called "The Crazy Wall" where i play 'Paddy Barnett' which wrapped up after 10 nights in the Garage Theatre Monaghan. Also within my time i have worked to achieve a level 5 drama and music certificate from Cavan I.T under the teachings of Peter O'Hanlon where for my end of year exam i played 'Stanley Kowalski'in the infamous play "A Streetcar Named Desire".From then I've moved on to take part in a Bachelors Degree in drama studies in DIT in Dublin and in the process studied in different dramatic systems eg.Stanislavski,Peter Brooks "The Empty Space",Dance,Mime,Vocal/Singing Training,Improv, etc.I also was fortunate to work briefly with my own written original piece of irish theatre in a play called "Piece Of Me" in & around ulster in where i played the son 'James Gilheaney' a troubled adlesant boy where his father has trouble letting go of his now deseased wife for which he blames my character for but comes to see the blind truth near the end of the play. For me that was my greatest acting experience thus far in terms of writing/starring and with it helped me evolve as an actor/writer and hope to keep doing so in the not to distant future.Aside from acting ive been playing guitar now on/off for the past 7 years also writing and performing my songs whenever i can.As with writing songs, along with my friend and writng partner have been writing my own scripts and producing them amaturely referred to above,Even entering one into the 'Clones Film Festival' in 2008 coming runner up in the process.I also have a love for art and have been drawing for the past 10 years even being accepted into 'The National College of Art and Design' in Dublin, only then wanting to pursue my passion for acting more so.I often sketch out ideas for scenes i have written. Also drawing and painting on a regular basis as a relaxing hobbie accumalating a nice portfolio in the process.I have also just finished playing the character of 'Bill Sykes' in a rendition of 'oliver the musical' over a success of 8 nights to a sold out and positive reception. In November of 2010 i was fortunate enough of playing Gar 'Private' in the critically acclaimed play written by Brian Friel "Phileadelphia Here I Come!" to sold out crowds in my local counties including headlining the 'Partick Kavanagh Festival' in Inniskeen Co.Monaghan to great reviews. My most recent venture to the stage was in the immensely great play "Big Maggie" by John B. Keane, where i had the privliege of playing 'Teddy Helan' Business/Ladysman extroadinaire.I'm currently doing a European Tour with "Emerald Isle Theatre Company" this last 8 months accumulating over 300 performances in front of thousands of audience members throughout France,Belgium,Luxenbourg etc.

Music is a big part of what i do as an actor performer.I have been singing from an early age up till now, aswell as learing how to play the guitar and also starting to learn piano.I studied vocal/breathing exercises while i was studying acting an has evolved my vocal range emensley.I Have taking part in many musical productions taking up the leads of 'Curly' in Oklahoma,'Danny' in Grease and most recently 'Bill Sykes in 'Oliver'.I have also written an performed my own music in local venues wit myself and my former band.Im currently writing my own original musicical (Story,Lyrics/Dialogue) & hope to be finished quite soon.
