I am an old hippy of 74, my wife Nikki is 37.We were married on 10th April 2009. I have long hair, & 'fuzzy' sideburns,wear bright kaftans,& have an infectious sense of humour .My zany sense of humour is clear in my children's book series,'Tales of Widgeripoo'.Nikki and I have featured in several magazines, and on TV due to our 'age gap' relationship. I have done radio broadcasting about my environmental work, childrens books and our age-gap marraige on BBC Radio Two, BBC 3 Counties Radio, Hertbeat FM, Capital Radio and Chiltern Radio, as well as finding interesting & amusing snippets in the national papers. See my video clips. I write songs with my friend Aitch. One of our songs is on Star Now, sung by Nikki & I. I have recently completed a music video for rising Norwegian band 'Grandma's Tea Party' playing an OAP attending Grandma's tea party, and ending up with a food fight and a duel with another old man with walking sticks! The track is 'AWise Man Told Me' and is due for release in April 2012. I appeared in 'Odd One In' in May 2011 dressed in Dickensian costume, and on Fern Britton's show 'Fern' on Channel Four as a Disney obsessive. I appeared with Morgana Robinson in her Channel 4 Show 'The Morgana' Show, where Morgana's 'redneck' character came on to my hillbilly character. I have been in 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'Sherlock Holmes 2'. My wife Nikki (who is 37) and I have appeared on 'John Bishop's Britain' , talking about keeping the spark alive in our marraige. I have played an old university Student recalling his days at uni in a comedy production . I played the part of 'Jock Strapp' a Scots biker who laughs himself to death in the promotional video for 'Dead Funny', a book by Warwick & Fru Jaggard. I played an evil scientist in the CBBC production 'M I High'. A Minister of Magic in 'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows', and have appeared on the line-up for 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks' with the drummer with 'Procol Harum'. My wife and I appeared on The Graham Norton Show' in a game of 'Match the couple'. I got the crowd singing in Liecester Square in an ad for T-Mobile for Saatch and Saatchi. I have been in three Harry Potter movies & been a guest on the Richard & Judy Show. I have acted as a retired comic in the BBC sketch show 'Stewart Lee', .I acted as a Romany in 'Ashes to Ashes', and appeared on 'This Morning' with my fiancee (now my wife) Nikki. talking about our 37-year age-gap relationship. I have also done several episodes of 'The Bill' on my own, and with my wife. I have also been filming. as a villager, with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Benecio Del Toro in the Hollywood movie, 'Wolfman'. I also appeared in five episodes of 'Midsomer Murders, also with Nikki. I have also played a drunkard in the 2007 BBC production of 'Oliver Twist', with a small speaking part. I have also completed a short film, as a main character,Charlie Henderson, titled 'The Need' in which Charlie gets strangled by a vigilante! I appeared on stage in pantomime,as a 'camp' Genii of The Lamp, the voice can be heard on my audio clip.I have compered many variety shows in the fifties and sixties,doing comedy routines and impersonations. I have appeared in music hall singing old time songs, amatuer dramatics, amateur films and musicals. I can mimic many UK accents, including Scots, as well as USA, as you can hear on my audio clip.

Magazine

I have been writing horticultural and environmental articles for such magazines as Gardeners Chronicle, Hertfordshire Countryside and Garden News since the Sixties. Horticultural, Environmental and Social features for many local newspapers and magazines since the fifties, and presented a weekly column in The Walthamstow Independent Newspaper under the name of Perry Peterson for a year in 1968.
I have published Environmental books and childrens books, and have just launched the first three volumes of my biography.
I also run a website on Environmental, social and horticultural issues, as well as music, all of which are updated regularly.
I have also appeared in 'Thats Life!' Love it!' The Sunday Times 'Style' magazine, 'Womans Own' and 'Star' magazine regarding my 37 year age gap with my wife Nikki, and in The Daily Mirror regarding my campaign, together with Stevenage MP Mrs Shirley Williams (now Baroness Williams), for the 'One Parent Family Allowance' in 1968/69, which eventually came into effect in 1971..
