Lucy Gale was born into a musical family with beautiful green eyes and flaming red hair and never uttered a word until the age of six. The first sounds she made were in song.

Born with a God given gift, Lucy’s extraordinary five octave range voice illuminates Soul and Gospel to Rhythm and Blues and has become a musical instrument attracting some of the world’s musical virtuosos to perform with her.

High profile, Lucy's captivating smile, effervescent personality and her soulful voice has built her a legion of fan and a long and diverse career.

She has been singing professionally since the age of 10 and at 16 years of age was a regular on the Don Lane show on national TV. This was followed by appearances on Good Morning Australia, Foxtel and many charity TV appeals including the Good Morning Australia Cabaret with a 70 piece orchestra, Tommy Tico, Carols by Candlelight. Sydney Rugby League Grand final (performing to over 90,000 people), Melbourne Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House and Rod Laver Arena.

Throughout her career Lucy has been consistently performing live to audiences around Australia and was most prodigiously signed by the John Houston Nippy Inc. (Whitney Houston’s production company in the US managed by Wade Perry). She performed with Billy Vera and the Beaters, Wilson Picket, Bobby Brown, Max Merritt, and Doug Parkinson. Andrea Bocelli also requested a private performance where she was accompanied by the incomparable Dominic Ross.

Lucy's genuine love of life and humanity has seen her work tirelessly to help raise money for many cancer groups (breast, cervical, Peter Mac, Australian Research Cancer Foundation), Royal Melbourne Hospital appeals, Light House Foundation, T L C Make a Wish Foundation. Lucy is also currently supporting The 20th Man Foundation with live performances.

Also known to be one of the countries hardest working Soul/ R & B Singer / entertainer /Songwriters’ Lucy has enjoyed a continuous long and rich career and is currently writing and recording her latest Album soon to be launched featuring her new single: “How Do I say Goodbye.”

Recognised for her years of success, dedication and passion for the music industry, in 2012 Melbourne artist Jim van Geet, a veteran contributor to Australia's prestigious Archibald art competition painted Lucy's portrait titled "Somewhere under the Rainbow"; which was selected as part of Melbourne's equally prestigious 2012 Hidden Faces of the Archibald, Salon De's Refuses.

In 2013 Jim van Geet also chose Lucy Gale as his portrait subject for the Moran art competition.
