Rory Flynn & Simon Kay are a songwriting partnership that was formed over two years ago when Rory responded to Simon's advert on the Starnow website. Rory mainly concentrates on the lyrics whilst Simon composes the melodies and takes care of production duties. Their aim is to write songs with strong lyrical themes/concepts and infectious melodies that will stand the test of time. The sort of songs that'll be murdered by cruise ship crooners for years to come.

They have already amassed a back catalogue of over 30 songs in styles ranging from pop and dance to R&B and ballads.

Both Rory and Simon have been involved in the music business for over 20 years. Rory has had a number of songs signed over the years and Simon played keyboards for Ultramarine (Warner Bros).

Their influences range from Bacharach/David and the Beatles to more contemporary writers such as Diane Warren, Guy Chambers, Cathy Dennis and Ryan Tedder.
