Music experience
Startet out with music as an hobby in 1994. I was the lead singer in a band called "midnight roses". We traveled around Norway playing cover songs.
In 2003 I started a solo Career " Roy Martin ". And made a EP.(6 songs) the same year with the best Roots musicians here in Norway.
That Ep gave me a lot of radio airplay and gigs.
2003 I went to Nashville making a full Cd. Used well known musicians as " Rob Hajacos on the fiddle" Sonny Garish . Steel Guitar" and Jim Pierce" as the Producer.
One of the songs where picked out by sony BMG for a compilation cd. that sold 15.000 copies here in Norway.
We also cut two videos to this album. Both videos where on National tv comersal. and One of them where the most played (upvoted)in 2006 on a contest here in norway.
In 2005 I was in Romania for a 4 weeks tour. That was for me the Highlight in my career so far. to se the Audience reaction on this type og music it was incredible good.
We also did a lot of Press conferances, radio and Tv Shows in Romania
2006/2006 I went down there to record in album and 2 videos. I was very happy with this result. But for a reason this was never released.
2008 July/August I have i new recorded singel 3 songs. I'm now looking for a good company who really works tight with the artist.
