| About me: | | I work as a journalist but I have deep love for music. Recently, I performed a professional solo show in the five star g hotel in Galway. Galway's first citizens, the Mayor of Galway city and Mayor of County Galway attended the concert. I love meeting people and I work well under pressure and deadlines. I have met and interviewed many interesting people. Here's to many more years of a great job!
When I am not at work, I just love learning new songs and grabbing any opportunity I can to perform. I am a trained classical soprano. It has always been my dream to become a successful singer.I have performed in operas and musicals. I have also been successful in competitions with music critics describing my voice as having a unique lyrical quality.
I recently appeared on national television and recorded a song in the same studio as U2. It was an amazing experience. |

Acting experience
The g hotel, Galway, Ireland - I hosted my solo professional show, featuring arias from Puccini, Mozart along with songs from Thomas Moore, Percy French and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
I attended a week long summer vocal school last year in Dublin. Here, I got perform in two operas (one lead role and one support role).
RTE Television: I recorded a song "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" from Phantom of the Opera on national television. Cameras followed by progress over three days while recording the song and chatting to the presenters live in studio.
I have taken numerous master classes including most recently one with Mark Shanahan, well known opera coach.

Television experience
During my college studies, I learnt how to write and present for television. I was also the subject of a television show recently, which followed my progress while I recorded a song in Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin, Ireland.

Music experience
I have just completed a solo show last August in Galway, Ireland. It was a fantastic experience and there are more the pipeline.
I have just finished touring with as a solo performer with Shaylyn, a group in Ireland, who perform a show very similiar to Riverdance. I was one of their main solo singers.
Television show followed me for three days where I recorded a song in a professional studio.
Am finishing my musical studies with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Have achieved honours standard in my exams so far.
Won competitions, one of which was a most promising singer contest. Represented Ireland in the Francisco Vinas Competition and got to perform in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Performed roles in operas: Gloriana and The Little Mermaid.
Have performed in recitals and concerts.
I have learnt a wide variety of songs and arias.
I have also attended a week-long singing summer school, which I found hugely beneficial.

Magazine experience
I have six years experience as a journalist. I have edited magazines, newspapers and supplements. I have reported on hard and soft news during this period. I have also done work on local and national radio.
