As well as being an actor Nathan Head has also appeared on 103.6FM Tameside Radio, 94.4FM Salford City Radio and 95.8FM BBC Merseyside as a special guest and recorded idents for Sobel Nation Radio and 88.7FM WRSU Radio New Jersey. For just under three years he was a co-presenter on a weekly entertainment-themed show on 103.6FM Tameside Radio, as well as reading the entertainment news following the updates from the Sky News Centre on Sundays. Nathan Head first appeared on Tameside Radio on the 2nd August 2009 to talk about an upcoming film-screening and shortly afterwards joined The Matinée Show as a regular contributor every Sunday until his departure on the 17th of July 2011 when he moved to Cheshire, returning for a special one-off show on the 11th of December 2011. The show played showtunes, reviewed shows and discussed anything theatrical as well as interviewing various guests and celebrities such as Sue Devaney, Jeff Wayne, Nicki French, Rowetta Satchell and Margarita Pracatan. Because of his work on The Matinée Show Nathan Head was asked to present his own dedicated section on Online World Radio, called The Showbiz Slot, which was broadcast weekly on the internet radio station in 2010 and later re-released as a podcast via iTunes in 2011 followed by a second series in 2012. Nathan Head has also recorded a number of radio plays for 103.6FM Tameside Radio, Walsall College Radio and 1521AM Flame Radio.
