Young Company October 2014 to August 2016
This company would take children's books and bring them to life and then tour them around the libraries of Oldham and Tameside. This was organised by the Young Company which is based until now at the Oldham Coliseum. I’ve done a few performances such as, My Friend Nigel and The Tales of Roald Dahl. My job wasn’t not only to perform, but to able to adapt to the new spaces, bigger or smaller where the audience may seat in the set or in the this, also I was also assistant facilitator, making sure that the children were safe and I’d play the activities with this small group of children to make sure that they were engaged and understood the games and activities.
Our biggest achievement was being awarded the National Family Award as the Best Family Event by?The Family Arts Festival.
