I have always wanted to strengthen my abilities as an actor from a very young age. Performing in school productions like Beauty and The Beast and West Side Story and also attending drama clubs has given me the confidence to go out on stage and perform in front of a audience. After leaving school I then attended Birmingham Theatre School for two years understanding how to perform monologues and act in more challenging plays like Fahrenheit 451, A Winter’s Tale and the Crucible which was an enjoyable learning experience. After leaving I thought it was important to continue educating myself and understanding the creative arts, I applied to a part time course called Identity Drama School until it was closed down in Birmingham.

In 2013 I auditioned at the Alexander Theatre for Annie the Musical where I landed the role of The villain called Rooster. The experience is an intensive two week project run during summer which gives actors, dancers and singers from the ages of 9-24 years olds the chance to experience what it is like to work on a professional run production. I attended University in 2014 where I studied drama, it allowed me to become more independent, creative and work under pressure while working with others in the creative arts. During my studies I still wanted to be involved in projects outside of uni like short films and extra work when possible, I graduated with a 2.1 with honors

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

In 2014 I was scouted by former 2013 Miss Birmingham winner Rachael Barker to compete In the Mr Birmingham competition. The first audition process was a catwalk, photoshoots and then an interview. I successfully got through to the next round winning over 80 contestants and going through to the finals. There were 4 rounds which was catwalking with different styles, which includes casual, sport, vintage, best smile and suited and booted. I came first in the best smile round and overall I came second in the whole competetion. As a runner up I was invited to to attened a charity photoshoot for queen Elizabeth's Hospital and remained second place Mr birmingham for two years.
