Modeling

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

I have worked with some beginner and professional photographers. This involved some abstract modeling along with some basic, contemporary shots. My course in performing arts and drama in college contained working with still images and general performances. I have been photographed while performing different genres of music which shows a variety of different emotions within the pictures.

At the age of 8, I began to teach myself to sing. This led to performing songs at my school concerts and participating in the choir. Around the age of 15 I began to play the guitar to accompany my singing, and found it came as a second nature. Without a tutor I taught myself how to read tablature and basic scales, chords and various techniques of playing. I am in a few different bands, one being an acoustic folk band in which I play the guitar, bass and a kick drum. I also sing and play the electric guitar in a pop punk band, and finally, I am also in a heavy metal band performing vocals that require complex diaphragm control (again self taught). I have performed live for many paid/charity gigs. I have also played with an orchestra for a school production of “The Jungle Book”. Studying Music has helped me to appreciate the theory side of playing and seeing how and why the music I listened to and played sounded good and worked well. In more recent years, I have taken part in musical theatre which has given my voice a lot more strength and a more professional sound which I am incredibly proud of. Music Technology helped me to further develop my technique, giving me the skills to record my music and recognize what goes into engineering a great sounding song. Technological skills were developed as I had to set up numerous computers and a studio to record on my units.
