I was always the quiet, introverted, shy, smart kid in the corner of the playground with his small group of mates up till year 8, when my character took a massive change. My drama teacher (the single most amazing woman I've ever know) assisted me in breaking through the shell that was preserving the world from my personality.
During the year, we had done many workshops and lessons, in which I practised playing humorous yet emotional characters. This was my beginning. When I was on stage in front of my peers I was in my spirit, it gave me such a high every time I finished.
By the end of the year, I was confident enough to perform a public speech in front of 600 people (the entire damn school).
Ever since then, I fell in love with performing in front of strangers/peers alike. I always put on my best performance no matter who I meet, they always remember my name.
I then started attended a fantastic, low-key drama club (the best kind) for the fun of it. It was called youth musical theatre club and it was in Ladbroke Grove. I met amazing people there who watched me display my talent and my passion. They then advised me to move forward with my acting career even though I was pursuing a completely different engineering profession. They helped me realise that my passion for acting and my passion for meeting and inspiring people could be combined.
Now my dream is huge, I want to inspire the world.
