In terms of acting experience, I got my first taste for the industry at the age of 8 where drama company named Operabrava put on a production of The Lion, The witch and The Wardrobe. I played the role of Lucy and from them on I proceeded to be in many other school plays in Primary and Secondary school. Pinocchio, Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Beauty and the Beast to name a few. At age I 10 I was in a production of Annie, The Musical with a large local drama company called Recall where I played the role of July. This was my first time being on a proper theatre stage and I absolutely loved it. Outside of school, I decided to join a local armature dramatics company and made my debut for them as a sea spirit called Coral in the pantomime Robinson Crusoe. Throughout my few years with them I have landed multiple roles including The Witch in Into The woods and other smaller chorus roles where I also helped with choreography for dance routines. It was at this point that I definitely knew I wanted to pursue a professional career in acting so I decided to study performing arts both acting and dance at college and more recently completing a 3 year Musical Theatre course at Portsmouth University. Here I was able to gain a much deeper understanding of the industry as well transferable new skills in areas of theatre I'd not experienced before. This included Puppetry, Children's theatre, Immersive etc. I have always been dedicated to my education and work and as a result I received a first class degree and graduated in July of 2019. When I wasn't studying I got myself involved in a variety of extra curricular activities that are orientated toward performance. Some of these were student films, music videos and a few low budget horror films which will be released later this year. Alongside all this, I got myself a job as a scare performer with a company called Outbreak. Here I would take on the role of a zombie and try to distract customers as they would attempt to complete escape room themed puzzles. This company also provided a walk through Narnia/Christmas themed experience for children which I got involved with as well. I'd become a variety of different characters from the tale of Narnia as well as an elf, Santa's helper and front of house, telling the children intriguing Christmas stories and taking them to see Father Christmas. In March of 2019, a theatre company, Metta Theatre, toured a new musical called In The Willows around the country. I was able to join them as part of the chorus on the Portsmouth leg of the tour. The most recent acting contracts and opportunities I've had are being a part of a one off Musical Theatre performance called Dark Tide, which is based off of a novel of the same title. The other, which I have just completed was a 2 month pantomime tour with a company called Chaplins pantomimes. Here I traveled across the whole of Birmingham and the West Midlands playing the role of Dusty the Dame in Beauty and the Beast. My current employment is at Otherworld Escapes, where I am a games host and hint personality. I create different voices for characters within each room and interact with the players to help them along their journey.
