Ciaran Quinn is a professional actor frequently cast in Police, Military, Detective, Gangland Villain roles, however is just as happy to play the good guy. With a long career starting in the military, police and as a professional Private Detective, Ciaran has also assisted on set with advice on those procedures and practices relevant to his career long experiences. Ciaran says, "I love being type cast, I look and can comfortably portray the character from life experience, however, playing the good guy now and then would be just as good". In the last couple of years, Ciaran has moved into more challenging roles in film and voice for animation and is loving the ride. "I need to do this now, I have a self employed career as a Private Detective investigating Miscarriage of Justice Investigations which pays well, however, being self employed and working my own hours, gives me the luxury of choosing the roles. I want acting to take me well into the next stage of my life".

I started in amature dramatic productions back in the 1990s which included a lead role in the musical Brigadoon. After a long break I signed up to Boss Casting in 2017 and landed a number of SA roles including Coronation Street, working up to speaking walk on 3 roles and then on to lead speaking roles in the ITV production Judge Rinders Crime Stories. I have acted in two short unpaid films as the lead, a gangster and an assasin and played a Priest Vampire Hunter in an american Modern Gothic style 1 hour film, filmed in Manchester. I have continued with my acting training attending courses and short workshops. My current agent is predominantly Supporting Artist roles, I am actively trying to get onto the books of an full acting agent.
