Based in South West London, with a recording studio and editing suite, Ben has been teaching audio and video production and post production for over ten years for colleges and universities such as Ravensbourne, Kingston College, The Institute of Music and Technology, TVU and Greenwich. A Final Cut Pro and Logic editor, Ben also has some experience with Motion, and uses Compressor, DVD Studio Pro, etc. Ben has a background in art, has an eye for design, and is at home creating graphics using Adobe software, or within Final Cut Pro or Motion. Ben's recent work has allowed him to work with video production and post companies throughout London, and is more than aware of the importance of schedules, budgets and deadlines. Ben is willing to get involved with (almost) anything in order to get the job done, whilst balancing the needs of pursuing artistic excellence, and seeing a project through to completion in next to no time with minimal budgets. Ben is looking for some freelance acting work to supplement his part time teaching work, but may be interested in expanding into a semi-permanent role or even a full time position in time.

City and Guilds sound engineering.
City and Guilds music technology.
Have sound engineered countless gigs and festivals over the last twenty years.

Recording studio owner and post production audio and music composer for film and TV. Multi-instrumentalist.

Ben Henderson joined, toured and recorded with the internationally successful band Bôa. Multiple album releases worldwide.

Written and performed and produced theme tunes for TV series (DVD release) "Lain Serial Experiments"

Organiser of several music festivals annually.

Gigs and performs regularly with UK acoustic steampunk triphop act: Moth

Producer of all Moth albums released digitally. Produce for film and tv.

I play a bunch of instruments in different styles:
Guitar (Les Paul, Strat, Vox)
Acoustic guitar (Takamine)
Drums (Gretsch and Rogers, Istambul cymbals)
Bass guitar (Vester)
Keyboards
Autoharp
Congas and percussion
Benjo (That's a Taisho Koto, not a typo!)
Bayan (A Russian classical accordion which looks amazing onstage!)

I am an ear player, and can pick up tunes very quickly, capable of jamming to a pro standard. I'm more of your rhythm guitar player than soloist - I am a supporting musician, an embellisher, not an ego head, although I am capable of acting it onstage if required.

Film & Stage Crew

Script writing / doctoring, Writer, Director, Producer, Cinematography/DOP/Cameraman (Canon 7D, Sony Z1), Sound, Foley, Sound mixing, Post-production: FCP editing, Motion, DVD Studio Pro etc. A little acting (speaking, feature film).

My work has been broadcast on MTV in Japan, the USA, the UK, and I have experience in shorts, music videos, documentaries and feature films.

I've been teaching people how to make films at various colleges and Universities in and around London for over a decade.

I've been doing sound foley and sound mixes for film for a number of years, and worked on everything from short films, commercials, theme tunes, leitmotifs to features as well as TV series.

I own my own kit: HDV camera/prime lenses, follow focus, reflecmedia, recording studio, and top spec editing suite: Mac/Final Cut Studio. For post production, I am happy working from my own edit suite, or can travel if need be.

I am a professionally qualified sound engineer, have a very high quality PA, and have been working on the audio side of the industry for over 20 years. I own my own Mac based recording studio in Surrey, which is set up for foley, music and sound mixing.

Photography

I've been teaching Photography for two years, and videography for the past five years.
