Previous paid speaking roles
Having acted for several yrs in amateur performances, I feel like now is the right time for me to branch out into the industry by applying for jobs such as the ones posted here.
As a castaway for channel 4's reality tv show "Shipwrecked: battle of the islands" in 2009 and a featured singer in Channels 4's "Skins", I have had much television work to pull upon. I also have sung for BBC Radio 4 with the West End Gospel Choir as well as singing at the Whats ON Stage Awards at the Prince of Wales Theatre in Feb 2010.
With training in Contemporary dance and Improvisational and Devising theatre (degree level) as well as musical theatre training at Mountview Academy, I believe I have alot to offer. I have had many ensemble and main roles, including those in performances like ‘The Vagina Monologues’ (Dec 2006) which I performed with my university, the main role of Eva in ‘Kindertransport’ (Dec 2002) with the Redbridge Drama Company, duologue in ‘A Stab In The Dark’(Nov 2001) in conjunction with the Roundhouse and many more. I have learnt much from my previous productions but am aching to learn more. Having worked with RADA, Central School of Speech and Drama and having trained at Mountview, I feel ready to perform within the inductry.
Having a naturally upbeat personality, I am easy to get on with and a very hard worker. I adjust to different environments and stimuli very quickly. Acting is my life’s greatest passion and I take each role, whatever it may be, with great seriousness and determination.
