I've been singing since I was 18 years old. I started as a lead vocalist in a rock band, then I decided to take singing lessons in a private school in Modena where I got my first singing certificate.
In 1999, I attended my first gospel workshop with the pianist, singer and choir director Reverend Lee Brown who decided to have me in his choir, The Freedom Family. In this choir I started as a choir member, and in one year I became a lead vocals.
In 2002, during a vocal competition, I got choosen by Mogol, the most popular italian songwriter to attend C.E.T. (Centro Europeo di Toscolano), the school he founded to train professional singers.
In 2007 I got a Master Degree in Music at Alma Mater Studiorum in Bologna (Italy).
I attended several gospel workshops in Italy during the past 10 years with different directors, and I've been singing as a lead vocals in many soul/funky bands.
From October 2010 to June 2011 I attended a Master Performance Course at Tech Music School, Acton, London. I graduated the 19th of June 2011 and I've been picked to sing as a lead vocals at the Graduations Night at Sheperds' Bus
h Empire, London. About my performance The Stage Reviews commented:
“They Don’t Care About Us from Michael Jackson was the choice of Elisa Meschiari and this vocalist really raised the roof. Aside from the catchy refrain of the lyric, which naturally had the audience singing along Meschiari invests the number with her own, striking stage personality. For this particularly rock and roll arrangement, Meschiari is supported by a perfectly balanced band with notably Jameson Bell on bass, Eun Ho Ryu and Sam Nicholson on guitar and Thomas Jarlier on drums.”
Currently I'm singing in a pop/blues duo with the italian guitarist Daniele Tagliavia and we're performing in different venues in London.
