I have been acting on the amateur stage since I was 8 years old and thoroughly enjoy it. I have played several main roles (inc Bloody Mary - South Pacific, Nancy - Oliver, Conchita - Copacabana, Lowbutt - Honk, The Wicked Witch Of The West in 'The Wizard Of Oz', {to rave rewiews and even a mention in the local paper} a silly girl in Disney's Beauty and the Beast (under the direction of a semi professional director/producer at Bolton's famous Albert Halls) and Cinderella's Stepmother in Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods, plus many panto roles. I have starred in musicals, plays and panto including playing the role of the wicked queen (stepmother) in Snow White. And in 2011, I acted in my first professional play at Salford Arts Theatre directed by Paul Kenney of the New Live Theatre Co. In 2015, I played my favourite character to date and personal family favourite - Dotty Otley (Mrs Clackett) in amazing comedy farce, Noises Off and loved every second of her. .
I have also directed several childrens shows (inc song & dance showcases) and within the passed 5 yrs, directed 2 productions for a youth theatre 'Honk' and 'Bugsy Malone' and directed my first pantomime, Cinderella for a amateur theatre companies in Bolton.
I took several Spoken English examinations whilst at school which resulted in several high grades.
