I went to Arts Ed drama school at the age of 31 in 1989, and I have worked steadily ever since. I have experience in most aspects of the business from award winning feature films to West End stage, from No. 1 tours to Shakespeare and various roles behind the camera and behind the scenes.

TV & Reality

Got through to last round of auditions for MKR 2016/17
Worked on "Beadle's Abroad" a reality TV prank show starring Jeremy Beadle where I was a member of the ensemble cast setting up and prancing unsuspecting 'contestants' who had been nominated by friends and family. I had to show great improvisational skill and the ability to think quickly and react in character so as to maintain the pretence up un til the big reveal by Jeremy!

Film & Stage Crew

Directing & Writing ability

I founded and ran a fringe theatre: The Royal George Theatre in Deptford, London for 18 months, during which time I gained experience in every aspect of running a small pub theatre.

Directing credits include: She Stoops to Conquer, 12th Night, Shirley Valentine, The Perfect Murder, The Business of Murder, Butterfies Are Free, The Golden pathway Annual, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Relatively Speaking, The Murder Game, Private Lives, The Mousetrap, The Problem and Froward To The Right.

I have done most jobs in both theatre and on a film set, as I have an insatiable thirst for how things work, and having produced and directed films I needed to know what was required of every job on set so as to reach a full understanding of it. Some of them I would not necessarily want to do again (I think I'm too old to be called best Boy again!) but having done them all gives me a wider understanding of the process and allows my acting to react at the appropriate level.
