This is a relatively new venture for me. I have recently taken part as an extra in a professional production by SolentTV in Southampton, as a board member. Prior to that, I took part in two episodes of Fred Dinenage's Murder Casebook aired on the Crime and Investigation Network last Autumn. Although these were 'silent' recorded parts, they did require verbal improvisation skills. In one I played a barrister, and in the second a medical doctor. Prior to this my main acting experience was that as an extra on a British feature film production (Brash Young Turks), for which I received an IMDb credit, and the occasional role in school productions. My largest speaking role to date is that of playing a rather hirsute Hermione Granger in a school Sixth Form Christmas production! If you have seen my profile photo, you will see that I was perfectly cast for that character! Needless to say, I am not looking particularly for cross-dressing roles on this website! I have really enjoyed taking part in a variety of small school productions as well as witnessing film shoots at first hand. I am a competent fencer of many years experience, with the foil being my weapon of choice, entering a number of open competitions around the country. It would be great to be involved in a role requiring swordsmanship and fight scenes! I am willing to consider any roles, large or small, speaking or non-speaking, main role or extra. I am currently enrolled on a film making course in order to understand the process from the other side of the lens. This will, I believe, give me valuable experience and improve my performance in front of the camera.

Film & Stage Crew

I am trained at the Lights Film School, based in the US, but offering their courses globally. I have covered all aspects of film making, including script writing, directing, cinematography and sound design. I also extended my knowledge and training at the Arts University Bournemouth, where I was recently enrolled. I have produced my own pilot short video piece to highlight my skills of composition, lighting, sound and atmosphere, as well as producing a short film as part of a local 48 hour film challenge. I have been the DoP for a student short film production, and, most recently, I have directed my own short film which will soon enter post-production. I own a JVC GY-HM100 ProHD camera, as well as a Canon 5D MkII DSLR, a GoPro Mk4 Silver, a Manfrotto tripod and fluid head, and a Lilliput 7" field monitor. As part of my acting activities, I have experience from the other side of the lens, providing a good understanding of the whole process of a film shoot.
