I attended Identity School of Acting in 2018 to 2019
Here I had a variety of acting classes such as: Voice; body; screen/on camera... in these classes i would work in groups, performing scenes from plays such as Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ to the play ‘Our Country’s Good’ (of which I performed to a live audience). I also learnt warming up techniques for the voice and body, which is important for projection and clarity of the voice.
At the end of my first ten I performed a play at the Cock Pit theatre. This really pushed my ability to perform in front of an audience and also my understanding of acting as it is important to understand the character. when the actor understands he character they are able to portray a believable performance.
IDSA, pushed my boundaries and allowed me to understand the need to dig deep for real emotions when portraying a character. It has allowed me to develop my knowledge of many aspects needed an actor.
