Lindsay trained at Trinity College, London and Kingston University. After ten years working in education and music technology as a teacher, adviser and consultant for companies including Andertons Music, Sibelius and Roland UK, she now follows a varied career as a performer.
Lindsay performs extensively at parties, functions and corporate events; as an urban freelance artist, playing saxes over live DJ mixes; and as a lead vocalist, backing vocalist, and sax player with 5 to 14 piece bands. Her music has taken her to some of the UK’s top entertainment venues and hotels, including O2 Indigo, Clapham Grand, Astoria 2, The Dorchester and The Ritz, as well as all over Europe and the world, including to Dubai, Egypt, Munich, Bulgaria... and the Isle Of Man!
More recently Lindsay has been involved in film - playing clarinet in the feature film The Oxford Murders - and in theatre; as an actor/singer/instrumentalist for two tours of Holland, The Burt Bacharach Songbook and Golden Moments, both produced by David Graham Entertainments Ltd; as a backing singer for Cilla Black with First Family Entertainment; as a vocalist and mutli-instrumentalist for Celtic Journey, at the Palace Theatre as part of the Stephen Gately Memorial Gala; and as saxophonist and multi-woodwind instrumentalist for brand-new Neil Sedaka show Laughter In The Rain, touring the UK from spring through summer 2010.I have appeared as a sax player with Rod Stewart on the Piers Morgan Life stories show. I have also performed on sax and vocals with Alex Charles ( heatwave)
